The Local Museum Adelboden: it is opened in 1983, with a fascinating collection of historically significant objects, show sporting articles, clothes, minerals and plentiful information about the history of Adelboden.

Engstligen falls: is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Bernese Oberland. Overcoming a total of 600 metres difference in altitude

In summer , Adelboden has 200km of hiking trails, from sedate walks to alpine climbing-routes, and numerous mountain railways lead up to the mountains. In winter, The Adelboden-Frutigen-Lenk ski region is a tempting destination even for top athletes. There are 40 kilometers of winter hiking trails.
Winter walking: offers an expedition through deeply-snowed forests, over glistening snow fields and past highland farmhouses, the beautiful mountain panorama opens up gives a clear view over Adelboden.
Snow-shoe hikes: it is suitable for all age travelers, and also an energy-saving method of traveling deep snow. Visitors can discover unknown place of Adelboden, feel peaceful, free.
Children’s programme: Adelboden offer a range of activities for children, something a little bit different to children, such as bedtime stories with Snowli, baking for children, family sledging, etc.
Chaligang fixed rope route: it is the newest mountain climbing route in Adelboden.
Horse-riding: the intensity of the landscape increases when viewed from horseback.
Events
FIS Ski World Cup is held at the Chuenisbargli in Adelboden. It is the most difficult racecourse in the world, the world’s best skiers meet in Adelboden in January of every year.
Alpaufzug Engstligenalp – 350 cows climb up the steep mountain trail which has been carved out of the rock alongside the Engstligen waterfalls to the Alpine pastures for the summer (end of July).
Kammermusic festival is chamber music festival, is held in July.
Transportation
Adelboden has one incoming road connecting from Frutigen. A wide variety of mountain cable-cars leads visitors view the beautiful Adelboden.
