The majority of bedrooms are medium sized but there are some which are quite large. Some have recently been redecorated to a very high standard. Although the majority could benefit from refurbishment, they are comfortable with wooden furniture and neutral colours such as beige and cream. The bathrooms are also old fashioned, but in good condition.

Guests eat in either a conference-style room on the 1st floor or in the breakfast room on the 8th floor. The building itself is ordinary and modern with the entrance located at the corner of the street.

The lobby is medium sized incorporating quite a large lounge area with seating and a bar. However, the decor of all public areas is a little dated and some refurbishment could be of benefit. This hotel is suitable for all guests due to its size and excellent location. Among its most famous guests was the comic strip character "Tintin" who reported from here during the "Calculus Affair".
