The rooms vary greatly in size from small to very large. All are traditional in style with original furniture and ornate bathrooms. However, they also vary in their condition, some are fair whilst others are very good. A small percentage have actually been totally refurbished and are in exceptional condition with brand new bathrooms. Generally rooms either overlook the lake or the quiet square at the rear of the hotel.

There is an a la carte restaurant where both Swiss and international specialities are served and a more informal brasserie/cafe which is popular at lunchtime with the locals.

It is a traditional hotel with a very impressive exterior, with its entrance opposite the lake. The small lobby has been renovated, maintaining its traditional grandeur. It includes a compact bar and lounge area with antique furniture and a huge glass chandelier as a centre piece.

Although not all the rooms have been renovated, the hotel offers an atmospheric stay, an excellent location and good service.
