The hotel's restaurants serve a variety of cuisine; one is a cosy snack restaurant and the other is a la carte. The a la carte restaurant offers spectacular views of the river and specialises in fish from the lake Brienz. During the summer, the hotel also opens its terrace restaurant.

The exterior of the building is traditional with chalet style architecture. The small lobby has kept its traditional Swiss style despite having been renovated over the years. Different types of wood have been used in the decor and the area has a cosy homely feel to it. This first class property offers a high standard of service, it is just a shame it is not as central as many of the other hotels in Interlaken.
