Estavayer-le-Lac is in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. It on the south-east bank of the Lake Neuchatel. Estavayer-le-Lac is a picturesque little yachties’ town on the lakeside, is  19 kilometers from  northeast of Yverdon, with plenty of medieval architecture scattered throughout a centre which has remained largely unchanged since 1599. Estavayer  has  yachting marina and two bathing beaches, it  is also a water sports paradise. Two camping and caravan sites form an important part of the available accommodation. Sailing, surfing and pedalo boating are all popular. There are many varied footpaths and cycle tracks so you can discover the rural surroundings of Estavayer.
