The new Park Inn Zurich Airport chain is an initiative from McDonald's Switzerland. In March 2001 the first Park Inn Zurich Airport opened in Rumlang, about 10 minutes from the Zurich airport and 15 minutes from Zurich downtown. It offers 211 comfortable modern rooms with special Bico beds to sit in and lie on, an Infotainment system, Internet access with wireless portable keyboards, in-room video games and cable TV.
