Grand Regina Alpin Wellfit Hotel Grindelwald, member of the prestigious group the Leading Hotels of the World, is situated in the center of the beautiful glacier village Grindelwald right in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The Hotel was built in 1902 for the then predominantely british clientele. The turreted victorian-style guilding still reflects the spirit of those days. In 1955, the hotel was bought by Mr Alfred Krebs and completely refurbished. The regina haus is linked to the main building by an underground passage way with shopping arcade and offers direct access to the pool area.

Today the Hotel offers 100 rooms including 15 suites and 4 penthouse suites of which most enjoy an unsurpassed view of the majestic snow-capped mountain peaks such as the eiger and the wetterhorn, private collection of over 500 oil paintings engravings and clocks of the 18th century. It has become one of the most complete resort hotels: its facilities comprise of 2 heated pools in and outdoor, 2 clay tennis courts available summer only with a pro , a spacious sunbathing lawn, sauna, solarium, massage, hair- dresser parlour and an 18 hole golf course nearby.Convention facilities for up to 200 persons with the most up to date equipment are available for seminars and conferences.

Most of the vegetables and flowers at the hotel are organically grown in its own farm and greenhouse. the Hotel is famous for its exquisite cuisine and efficient service: the classic restaurant La Pendule D'or provides the perfect setting to enjoy the culinary creations of the hotel Chef De Cuisine. For those who do not wish their evening to end after dinner a live band entertains in Regina Bar starting at 9pm daily. A pianist enhances the elegant atmosphere in the rustic jagerstube the guests can relish traditional and regional swiss specialities.

Arriving by car:

Motorways lead from Bâle, Geneva or Zürich via Bern to Spiez. From Spiez onwards, good mainroads lead via interlaken to Grindelwald.

Arriving by rail:

Fast and direct trains run daily to Interlaken from many main cities in Europe. From Interlaken Ostthere is a connecting train to Grindelwald. Interlaken-Grindelwald approx. 35 min.

Arriving by air:

The international airports, Zürich Kloten and Geneva Cointrin, have connecting trains to Interlaken–Grindelwald. At Bern Belp airport an airport taxi will bring you to the railway station.
