The rooms are all elegant and large with traditional decor. Many enjoy fabulous views, but the "worst" view guests can expect would be over lovely tranquil countryside to the rear of the hotel. The only criticism of the rooms is that some are a little old-fashioned, they are all in good condition however, as are the bathrooms.

The resort boasts a couple of restaurants including fine dining a la carte, and an Italian trattoria. All are of highest quality. The resort consists of three hotels, The Park, The Grand and The Palace. All three buildings are typical Swiss grand hotels.

The lobbies of the three hotels are similar, being large grand, and ornate. This resort is a central Swiss institution. It has arguably the finest location of any Swiss hotel, yet is easily accessible from Zurich, Lucerne and Berne.
