Steinbock Hotel is the oldest and therefore the most traditional hotel in Grindelwald, completely rebuilt in 1992. It is a cozy, chalet-style, government-rated 3 star hotel, just opposite the Sunstar Hotel and lying near the bottom of the First gondola leading to the First skiing area in winter or a hiking Valhalla. The ski bus stop for Klein Scheidegg/Mannlichen areas is located just next to the Steinbock.

Bedrooms are medium in size, handsomely and comfortably furnished in a modern Alpine style. The hotel's Grappa Bar offers 100 different kinds of grappas.

The Steinbock Hotel is just a few minutes walk down the main street for that little shopping tour or to the village railway station, the starting point for delightful excursions throughout the entire Junfrau region.
