The hotel is located just above the village of Engelberg, and 3 minutes walk from Engelberg station. It is situated in its own beautiful park, providing a peaceful location. The hotel has its own little rack railway which is used to transport group passengers and their luggage up to the hotel from a coach parking area in the village, since the road up to the hotel is too narrow for coaches.
