The old town of Thun has special architecture, its architectural style with the mezzanine and subterranean floors is unique throughout Europe. It is suitable for living, people enjoy the relax city life and ideal location.
Kunstmuseum Thun is located on the banks of the River Aare with a view of the mountain backdrop of Thun. It collects important classic Swiss modern art, Swiss Pop Art works.
Schlossmuseum is one of the most famous historic museums in Switzerland, the museum houses an important collection representing the region’s history. It offers museum educational service for children, age-coordinated topics offer living history learning experiences for entire school classes.
Berntorscheune is an ancient traditional barn, it was built in 1655 by master carpenter Hans Eimann for Venner Jakob Rubin.
The church stairway is known as the Stalden or steep path, the stairs were rebuilt by master carpenter Johann Boxdörfer in 1818.
Thun Panorama is the oldest remaining rotunda painting in the world. The monumental rotunda is 7.5 meters high and 38 meters long. It has 200 years history. Only 21 panorama painting from the 19th century.
