Verbier is a village in the canton of Valais, located in southwestern of Switzerland, it is in the south western corner of the Valais, close to Italy and France, it is one of the most famous resorts in Europe. There are more than 400 kilometers of signposted hiking trails around Verbier and the Val de Bagnes. Verbier offers a range of organized activities. For examples: visits to a mountain cheese dairy or bakery, children's competitions, themed walks, museum visits, and mountain bike excursions. It also offers a whole host of novel activities involving natural elements and gravity: river-rafting, canyoning, hydrospeed, rap-jump, bridge-pendulum,
caving, etc. Located at an altitude of 1,500 m, Verbier is the main gateway to the Four Valleys area, comprising over 410 kilometres of ski runs and 89 state-of-the-art lifts, all covered by a single ski pass. And there are plenty of other facilities to delight adults and children.
The museum of the Hameau devotes over 1000 square meters of exhibit space. The Saint Chapel was built in 1985 by Pierre Dorsaz, the 3000 piece organ is one of a kind. Mont-Fort glacier at 3330 meters, it is the highest point in this ski resort.
