There are two distinct styles of room. About half the rooms were professionally redecorated in attractive "Laura Ashley" style in '98. The other half are a clever mixture of modern and traditional styles and are newly renovated. Both styles of room are in good condition and the bathrooms are all exceptional.

The breakfast room and group dining room is located on the ground floor just off the lobby. Large windows give onto the hotel's pretty garden to the rear of the building. The furniture and decor are simple and traditional.

It is a traditional solid-looking building with an attractive pale grey and white facade. The lobby is small and welcoming with a pale wood laminate floor and little wooden reception desk. This hotel was taken over by dynamic new management in '01 and now represents one of the better three star hotels in Interlaken.
